This is a visual, hands-on industry and we’ve found one of the most effective ways to teach is through live, hands-on demonstration. Lowell Academy incorporates a wide variety of teaching techniques, but practical demonstrations have proven to be one of the most enjoyable and efficacious ways for our students to learn. We frequently invite local barbers and barbershop owners to come and discuss the ever-changing landscape of the barbering industry and share real-world experience, while also demonstrating the newest techniques of the trade. The barbering industry is a small but thriving community of like-minded professionals who are always willing to lend a helping hand to future generations.
